A Trip to a Reindeer Farm in Alaska

My son wanted to see snow so my sister had this clever idea to make that a reality. This is my kids’ first time on a plane, so I was excited for them yet I didn’t know how they’d react. Watch the trip! This was an 8-hour flight for us. We had one stop in Seattle but that was it. She had it all planned out and he had no idea.

Where I Stayed

We stayed with my sister at a quaint and cozy Airbnb.

Where I Ate

We ate at Waffles Rush and Inferno Seafood Boil. They both were pretty good. Other than that we cooked back at our stay.

Getting Around

We rented a car with a car seat for my toddler. There’s public transportation as well like a bus.

Let’s head to the Reindeer Farm

We visited the Reindeer Farm on Sunday and it was About 45 minutes to an hour drive to get there from Anchorage, Alaska.

They had hot cocoa or coffee whichever you choose to keep you warm while it snowed outside. You had an opportunity to feed the animals as well. The host tour guide was very knowledgeable and friendly during our visit. It was a very nice gift shop there as well if you wanted to pick up your souvenir. Overall, it was super cold but overall a very relaxing trip.
