Unveiling the Secrets to Radiant Skin: A Guide to Skincare Basics
Okay so we all know how important skin care really is, I mean your body is the biggest organ so let’s take care of it. It’s not a one size fits all. Do what you can for your skin type, climate and lifestyle. I’m just going to go over a few tips I have learned over the years in reference to a great skin care regimen so you too can have radiant skin.

Understanding Your Skin Type
Wash your face with gentle cleanser better try and do not use any products just wait for 60 minutes after 60 minutes if your skin feels extremely squeaky or stretched it means you have dry skin. If your forehead, nose, chin which is your T-Zone appears shiny or cheeks are normal dry then you have a combination skin. If your skin feels greasy, shiny and bit sticky then you have oily skin. If your skin feels none of the above, it means you have normal skin. Lastly, if your skin feels itchy, gets red easily and reacts to new products or fragrances then you have sensitive skin and remember all the skin types can be sensitive too.
Essentials for your skin care routine
- Cleanser is important to remove makeup if you wear any oil and dirt.
- Toner balances out your skin’s pH while also prepping for treatment.

- Coffee scrubs or sugar scrubs, Avoid the ones that can cause tears in your skin
- Cloth/brushes Help slough off dead skin when gently used.
- Face masks add benefits When you know when and how to use them.
Lifestyle Habits for Radiant Skin
Here are my five tips:
- Eat the rainbow. Colorful fruits and vegetables are filled with antioxidants that can fight inflammation of your skin.
- Drinking half of your body weight in water to flush out toxins.
- Sugar is the great age of our body so reduce the amount of sugar you eat for better skin.
- If you’re not using a retinol at night now is the time to start. Use vitamin C serum in the mornings.
- Manage your stress levels with exercise.
Overall, make sure to remove your makeup before going to bed. Always use sunscreen even on cloudy days.
